I am the owner and founder of Honey, Scrubs n’ Stuff, a woman-owned handmade skincare brand committed to creating products that promote self-care, confidence, and wellness.

What inspired you to start your business?

Karen Bridges-Draper:

After losing my mother to breast cancer in 2007, I struggled through one of the darkest seasons of my life. While going through her belongings, I found a note that simply read, “Honey,” along with three body oils. That unexpected discovery became the inspiration behind Honey, Scrubs n’ Stuff—a brand created from love, healing, and hope.

What has been your biggest challenge, and how did you overcome it?

Karen Bridges-Draper:

Finding a strong community of like-minded entrepreneurs has been one of my biggest challenges. I learned the importance of surrounding myself with women who encourage collaboration, growth, and genuine support.

What advice would you give to a woman chasing her dreams?

Karen Bridges-Draper:

Believe in yourself first. Speak positively over your life every day, stay consistent, and remember that dreams only become reality through action. Your mindset matters just as much as your work ethic.
