Megan Thigpen: I am a healthcare professional, published runway model, and community advocate dedicated to serving others and making a positive impact. Whether through healthcare, mentoring, modeling, or community outreach, my goal is always to inspire, empower, and uplift those around me.

She’s Winning: What inspired you to start your business, brand, or journey?

Megan Thigpen: My journey was inspired by my passion for serving others and making a positive difference in people’s lives. From a young age, I was actively involved in my community and discovered joy in helping others. That passion led me to spend 13 years as a preschool teacher and more than 14 years in healthcare. Modeling became another avenue for me to inspire confidence and show women that beauty, purpose, and success have no age limit. Everything I do is rooted in service, empowerment, and being a positive example for others.

She’s Winning: What has been your biggest challenge, and how did you overcome it?

Megan Thigpen: One of my biggest challenges has been balancing multiple roles while staying true to myself. As a woman committed to healthcare, education, community service, modeling, and personal growth, there have been moments when I felt stretched thin. I overcame those challenges by staying focused on my purpose, trusting God, remaining disciplined, and remembering why I started. Every obstacle became an opportunity to grow stronger, wiser, and more resilient.

She’s Winning: What advice would you give to a woman who is chasing her dreams?

Megan Thigpen: Believe in yourself even when no one else does. Don’t allow fear, age, setbacks, or other people’s opinions to stop you from pursuing your goals. Stay consistent, keep learning, and trust the process. Your journey may not happen overnight, but every step forward matters. Most importantly, never dim your light to make others comfortable. Walk confidently in your purpose and remember that your dreams were given to you for a reason.
